Tamil Study Bible 1.1.6

The producers and publishers of this Study Bible uphold a belief in the full divine inspiration of the Scriptures. They assert that God inspired the original authors of each of the 66 books to record, in their respective languages—Hebrew, Greek, and a small portion of Aramaic—what He intended to convey. As a result, they affirm the Bible's status as the Word of God, supported by the teachings of Jesus Christ. In Matthew 4:4, Jesus indicated that the words found in the Old Testament originated from “the mouth of God.” He emphasized that not the smallest detail of the law would vanish until its fulfillment (Matthew 5:18). Furthermore, He attributed David's words to being “by the Holy Spirit” (Mark 12:36) and referred to God’s declarations to Israel’s leaders as “the word of God,” asserting that “the Scripture cannot be broken” (John 10:35). Additionally, Jesus proclaimed that His teachings came directly from God the Father (John 12:49; 14:24), and He assured His apostles that the Holy Spirit would guide them “into all truth” (John 16:13). The apostles reinforced this belief, stating that all Old Testament Scriptures are given “by inspiration of God” (2 Timothy 3:16) and that prophecies were delivered through holy men who were moved by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21).
